Situated on the original farm Garstfontein. 220Ha of land was bought form Wolfaardt Boerdery Belange (Pty) Ltd and The City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality from 1998 – 2001. The Wilds is situated in the east of Pretoria, with two entrances entering from de Ville Bois Mareuil – between Atterbury and Garsfontein Roads. The Wilds currently consist of 6 extensions, namely Elephant Hills, Leopards Den, Rhino Ridge, Buffalo Creek, Cheetah’s View and Lion’s Head. Elephant Hills is 98 % buildup; Leopards Den 99 %, Rhino Ridge 80 % and Buffalo Creek 90 %. We are currently busy to build approximately 25 houses in Cheetah’s View. Lion’s Head will be proclaimed early 2012.
The Wilds is situated between two much sought after security estates in the East of Pretoria. Woodhill College, Pretoria East Hospital, Doxa Deo School, various excellent shopping centres, nurseries and restaurants are only a few of the much needed day to day necessities – all in a radius of 2km ! A little bit further – Loftus Versfeld and The University of Pretoria being 25 minutes away!
Security
The estate was the first to introduce a double security system with guarded entrances at the main entrance to the estate and each extension.. Furthermore there are CCTV cameras at the main entrance gates and the gates to each extension, also electrified fence and motion beams on the perimeter walls around the estate!
